Anahid is an Armenian-American born and raised in Tehran, Iran.
She came to the U.S. in 1988 and
select California as her destination.
She has a dynamic and extensive background in
Couture Tailoring, having worked with some of the
Fashion Industry’s most renown individuals.
Anahid worked with Joseph Arzili as a women’s clothing designer
and senior dressmaker in Los Angeles. Later she moved to Northern
California and met Designer Lily Samii. Anahid worked with Lily
for over
five years as a Dressmaker and also did major alterations, fittings and
making patterns.
In 1994, Anahid began her own business and now retains many loyal
clients. She is regularly referred
and recommended by most Bay Area and Marin County’s boutiques and by
her clients for her unique
tailoring skills.
Anahid knits as well. Her expertise in knitting is quite
surprising. She provides quality couture tailoring
to any kind of
garments. She has been known to make the impossible, possible.
